​Career
Alexandros has a bachelors’ degree from the Law School of the University Of Thessaloniki Greece and has studied in England (School of Law, University of Manchester ) and obtained a diploma in English Legal Studies and a Master’s of Laws degree. He has also a Ph.D. in International Tax Planning.

He has over 20 years’ experience in international construction contracts and construction related disputes being involved in major projects in both Civil law and common law Jurisdictions.  As consultant he has been involved in well-known BOT projects in Greece (Metro of Thessaloniki, Rio Antirio Bridge) and abroad (Mafraq STP Abu Dhabi, Blue City Oman etc) and the last 10 years he has been advising European Contractors as well as Major Local Real Estate Developers for projects in the Middle East Region (UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait ). He has acted for many internationally well known Contractors in Europe, Asia and North Africa.

Alexandros specializes in all forms of Construction contract and construction related disputes including arbitration , mediation and adjudication and is also experienced in drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, claims and finance documents related or connected with Construction Projects. He is also experienced in negotiating corporate contracts that Construction Companies are often involved with such as JV Agreements, Consortium Agreements , SHA , SPA , construction companies tax planning and corporate structures which maximize international tax efficiency for construction companies etc. The fact that Alex has studied law in both a civil law and common law jurisdictions and has practiced in various jurisdictions have allowed him to understand the local particularities of legal systems which are developed on the basis of civil law but are practiced mainly by common law lawyers. This advantage has proven of significant importance to clients.
