Expertise

Maria is an Associate with ERI Law based in Athens and has advised clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters. These include the preparation of arbitrations and adjudications on construction related disputes, advice on tender bids in the construction sector and the negotiation and drafting of contracts (JCT/FIDIC/NEC), professional consultants’ appointments, collateral warranties, novation deeds and joint venture agreements. Maria has acted for main contractors, sub-contractors and developers in the UK, Greece and the UAE.

​Career
Having an undergraduate degree from the University of Bath in Business Administration (BSc Hons) and a degree from the College of Law, Maria completed her training at the international law firm Clyde & Co LLP in London and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales before joining ERI Law in 2013. Maria is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and a member of the Athens Bar Association and mainly works in the Athens branch often travelling to the overseas offices.
