Our client was a major construction firm in an EU country. With the slowing down of the European economy they decided they needed to diversify their operations by offering their services in the Middle East - an area in which e they had limited experience. In order to do so they needed to enter joint venture arrangements and establish companies with local ownership in order to comply with local laws.
This opened huge issues - of control, of management, of profit sharing. With the help of lawyers and other advisors in the region we helped our client to become established and they are now well embedded and operating successfully.

In the process we made many local contacts and gained an intimate knowledge of the markets, laws, customs and procedures. We have since helped others down the same path.
We feel we offer the perspective of a continuing European focus with the knowledge of local realities.
